The Hear Technology XIN Extreme Extenders were professionally designed capable of solving ADAT Optical distance limitations. The Extreme Extender ADAT In is converting the ADAT optical to HearBus CAT5E cable. With the use of CAT5E the effective length of an ADAT Optical interface is possible to be extended up to 500 feet. This is accomplished without any loss of audio quality. The ADAT "Thru" output is capable of providing a buffered pass-thru designed for connection to local ADAT devices.
