The JBL AC18/26 is a compact full-range loudspeaker system professionally designed for providing SPL and maximum bandwidth in a single system package and still able to virtually unobtrusive. The JBL AC18/26's enclosure design is allowing the installations even very close to ceilings and walls that makes it ideal choice to place in column, under balcony or wall mounting. For providing even coverage throughout the intended listening area, it is equipped with a high frequency device that is a 1” exit compression driver integrated into a newly designed 120° x 60° rotatable PT™ (Progressive Transition) waveguide. The combination is showing smooth power response that results in extremely natural voicing. The JBL AC18/26 also utilizes an 8” Symmetrical Field Geometry (SFG™) LF Transducer with a copper-clad aluminum edge wound 2.5” voice coil and a copper-clad pole piece for improving the performance by reducing voice coil distortion and inductance.
