The Earthworks DK25/L drum microphone set represents an innovative approach to drum miking for live sound applications, with a history for manufacturing quality measurement and studio microphones. The set consist three SR25 cardioid condenser microphones and a KickPad in-line pad adapter. A 25 kHz percussion microphone series is developed by Earthworks technicians, challenging the traditional five to seven microphone technique with just two overhead and one kick drum microphone.

The microphone set is featured with the KickPad, an in-line adapter that optimizes any of the SR25 microphones to be used as a kick drum microphone. This leads to a level of clearness, transparency and cohesiveness that rival industry favorite drum microphones & miking techniques, while reproducing an image of the whole drum kit.

Optimized For Live Sound

Optimized for live sound applications, the cardioid pattern of the SR25 microphones feature a focused pick up. The result minimizes ambient noise caused by adjacent drum resonance, additional instruments and nearby monitor speakers.

Extended Frequency Response

The Earthworks 25kHz series of percussion microphones feature a flat, wide frequency response that accurately capture the slightest nuance in rich detail.

KickPad In-Line Pad

The microphone set includes the KickPad, an in-line pad adapter that optimizes the SR25 to accurately capture kick drums.
