LUCIA 240/1-70 Incorporates Ease of Install with 240 W of Decentralised Power in a Compact Energy Star Compliant Amplifier.

Great Sound, Flexibility, and Ease of Use

Lab Gruppen's visionary LUCIA (Localized Utility Compact Intelligent Amplification) redefines AV system design by introducing unparalleled audio excellence and unprecedented adaptability. This innovation strategically allocates power, processing, control, and I/O precisely where they're needed, liberating designs from the constraints of centralized equipment rooms. In numerous AV setups demanding consistent top-tier performance, LUCIA emerges as the logical, cost-effective, and scalable solution. Its decentralized approach simplifies complexities, often eradicating the need for centralized equipment rooms, thereby reducing complications and extra expenses. LUCIA amplifiers marry a digital, firmware-driven front end with Lab Gruppen's durable, highly efficient output stage, elevating it as the epitome of compact amplifier excellence. Its remarkable blend of superior sound and unwavering reliability positions LUCIA as the foremost choice in its category, heralding a new era of amplified audio experiences.

Fits in Anywhere

The LUCIA 240/1-70 embodies a design that goes beyond engineering—it's a meticulous masterpiece crafted for swift installation and effortless setup. With its discreet wall-mount bracket, it seamlessly hides behind video displays, yet its ultra-compact form allows versatile placement. Whether nestled beside a projector or seamlessly integrated into reception counters, podiums, lecterns, or the lively ambiance of a bar area, its adaptability knows no bounds. Every connection point, meticulously designed with Euroblock screw terminals and parallel unbalanced RCA connectors, ensures seamless integration. Fine-tuning becomes an art with front-panel potentiometers for effortless level adjustments. The amplifier's advanced circuitry stands guard, shielding both the amplifier and connected loudspeakers from potential damage due to clipping, thermal overload, or extremely low line voltage, guaranteeing an unparalleled audio experience.

Integrated DSP for Enhanced Flexibility

Within the core of the LUCIA 240/1-70 resides a digital front end, boasting a 2 x 1 Mix Matrix and an extensive suite of DSP capabilities. Among these treasures lie the coveted Automatic Dynamic Loudness Contouring (ADLC™) and a rich array of EQ filters positioned both before and after the matrix. These remarkable attributes nullify the necessity for external mixers and processors in numerous applications, delivering not just unparalleled performance but also time and cost savings. Enabling a seamless journey, a software wizard stands ready to streamline the setup process, while an advanced editor empowers the offline configuration of prevalent presets. These customized configurations can be swiftly ushered into multiple units via USB, fostering unparalleled efficiency and ease in management.

Green Credentials

LUCIA amplifiers are Energy Star qualified, making them an ideal choice for installation in projects seeking energy-efficient certifications. The amplifiers automatically enter standby mode after a 20-minute period with no signal input, consuming less than 1 watt. Automatic power-up occurs within two seconds after an input signal is sensed.

Third-Party Control

Once installed the LUCIA can be controlled and monitored either via GPIO or more extensively using the RS232 interface that is included. The protocol used is open and free for anyone to implement. The list of companies supporting it is growing.

Energy Star Qualified

Our Energy Star-qualified products are a testament to the marriage of impeccable Lab Gruppen sonic performance and robust power output while upholding the stringent efficiency benchmarks of Energy Star certification standards. Through adeptly managing very low current draw during operational cycles, even at high output levels, and minimizing power consumption during non-operational phases, these products strike a harmonious balance between superior audio quality and efficient energy utilization. This remarkable synergy ensures an outstanding sonic experience while aligning with the demanding efficiency standards set by Energy Star.

ADLC for Great Sound, Everytime

Automatic Dynamic Loudness Contouring ensures a fuller and more comfortable listening experience – especially at low perceived levels. Based on industry-leading technology from TC Electronic, ADLC ensures that LUCIA makes the best of what comes into the system regardless of output gain (or “volume”).
