Bose ControlSpace ESP-1240A DSP Processor

The Bose Professional ControlSpace ESP-1240A, an open-architecture DSP, engineered sound processor is designed professionally for a wide range of applications either from a small small, self-contained projects to a large one networked systems. It is crafted with a Bose AmpLink output, 12x4 analog audio I/O, and advanced digital signal processing with 24-bit/48 kHz audio conversion. The ControlSpace ESP-1240A is very well engineered for precise performance and also features ultra-low and low-latency noise operation.

For its control and configuration, there is an onboard connectivity which includes rear-panel Ethernet, five control outputs, five control inputs, and an 8-channel Bose AmpLink port for sending digital audio to Bose amplifiers. Bose Professional ControlSpace ESP-1240A is also supporting integration with industry-standard control systems, such as AMX and Creston, and can be used with any of the compatible Bose Professional end-user control options such as the mobile-ready ControlSpace Remote and ControlCenter zone controllers.

By the use of Bose ControlSpace Designer software you're able to control and configure the ESP-1240A, where a huge set of signal processing modules, just like parametric EQs, multiband graphic and automatic mic mixers, signal generators, Bose loudspeaker libraries, mixers, routers, duckers, AGCs, gates, compressors, delays and source selectors offering an elevated level of functionality for general installed audio applications. Automation events visually with less complication and program end-user controls and more predicable operation on-site. An entire audio system, with ControlSpace Designer software, multiple components can be monitored, configured, and tuned live for creating custom-designed control and audio solutions that offers outstanding flexibility and save design time to better meet client needs.

FEATURES

  • High-quality analog circuitry offers both mic and line-level I/O, operates with ultra-low noise and 115 dB dynamic range
  • Advanced digital signal processing supports audio at 48 kHz sample rate/24-bit, uses a floating-point open architecture DSP and operates at low latencies for sound system precision
  • Integrated AmpLink connection uses standard CAT 5 cables to send up to 8 channels of low-latency, uncompressed digital audio to compatible Bose amplifiers
  • Bose ControlSpace Designer software enables a large set of signal processing modules, such as automatic mic mixing, multiband graphic and parametric EQs, Bose loudspeaker libraries, signal generators, routers, mixers, AGCs, duckers, gates, compressors, source selectors and delays
  • A variety of control options: ControlSpace ESP products are compatible with programmable Bose CC-64 and CC-16 controllers, ControlCenter zone controllers, and ControlSpace Remote clients
  • Supports industry-standard control systems using a comprehensive serial protocol through onboard RS-232 and Ethernet ports, with available drivers for AMX and Crestron-based systems
