AMBER HR Active

The AMBER HR active is identical to the AMBER active except the larger cabinet size which physically matches with the BLACK tv HR active, VIOLETT HR active, BLUE HR active and OWL-System.
Due to the larger cabinet dimensions, the AMBER HR active has a 6 Hz lower system frequency.
Both AMBERS reach a very low -3dB point, because we use a 10-inch dual coil driver which is capable of moving its membrane by ±15mm.

The OWL System is a unique studio monitor design from EMES using the patented Embracing Sound Experience System™. The ESE (Embracing Sound Experience) System™ allows the reproduction of a sound image from a single enclosure. This eliminates artifacts such as acoustic crosstalk, extensive comb filtering, etc., introduced by any left/right mono-speaker configuration.

The ESE System™ is based on the discovery that the human sense of hearing can recreate the acoustic image, which up to now, manufacturers have attempted to reproduce using two separately positioned speakers. Suddenly, stereo is no longer just a question of left and right, but also of foreground and background. We all know that the recorded sound already contains the directional information that the brain needs. Mackie HR624
The Mackie HR624 is a THX-approved, six-inch, two-way active reference monitor that provides the same legendary accuracy of Mackie's HR824 in a more compact, lighter-weight, lower-priced package. The HR624 is designed to work perfectly with the Mackie HRS120, 12" 400-watt active subwoofer system as well as the Mackie HR824 active 8" monitor in surround installations.

The Mackie HR624 is the ideal choice for smaller recording studios, or home and project studios looking for a monitor with the best combination of features and value. Through shared acoustic technology, the HR624 offers the same clarity and responsiveness of the HR824, but in a smaller size. Its six-inch woofer offers smooth, detailed mid-range frequency responsiveness with the same high-end clarity and low-end punch as the HR824. With extremely even dispersion for a wider "sweet spot" and user-adjustable controls for different acoustic spaces, the HR624 is an excellent choice for high precision, near-field sound reinforcement.

The Mackie HR626 is the first active Mackie studio monitor with a D’Appolito woofer-tweeter-woofer design. It has one 6.7-inch woofer on each end of the cabinet with the dome tweeter in the center. The monitor can be setup vertically or horizontally, depending on the application.

The 2-way bi-amplified monitor implements servo-feedback circuitry and an elliptical passive radiator to achieve low distortion and extended low-frequency response similar to the HR824. Fostex PM0.5 Transducers
The 5 in. LF (Low Frequency) driver has been developed to obtain extremely pure music reproduction by employing the latest technology in cone material.

Cone Features:

The cone uses a mixture of cut and milled fibers that are made from aromatic polyamide. It is then impregnated with resins to simultaneously achieve high rigidity and optimum damping.

ATC SCM20ASL Pro
2 way near field monitor for music/film

The new SCM20ASL Pro brings together the experience and tradition of 20 years of ATC design with the latest advances in materials technology, and a radical design of speaker cabinet. The result is a highly portable active monitor capable of high volume and unerring accuracy - the ultimate transportable monitor system. By employing a Super Linear magnet in a new version of the renowned 150mm mid/bass drive unit, along with a 25mm tweeter, the SCM20ASL Pro delivers true reference monitoring that you would expect only in a large 3-way monitor.

The active 2-way design incorporates two separate amplifier blocks in each cabinet - 250W for bass/mid and 50W for high frequencies - and will deliver continuous SPLs of up to 108Db/1M. Right up to the highest volume, however, the matched amp and driver system maintains ultra-low distortion, solid stereo imaging, and a high degree of linearity.

A rear panel selector provides five different LF boost settings, as well as a flat Reference setting, tailoring the SCM20ASL Pro's low end response to different monitoring environments. The elegant lines of the die cast aluminium cabinet are functional as well as aesthetic, incorporating a carry handle and large cooling fins, and providing superb structural integrity. Universal Omnimount fixings are built into the cabinet, for flying or wall mounting.

The integral power supply can be switched to 230, 110, or 100A AV, ensuring that SCM20ASL Pro monitor systems offer true plug-and-play operation anywhere in the world.

ATC SCM50ASL Pro
3 way mid field monitor for music/film

The SCM50ASL Pro is an active 3-way system suitable for reference monitoring in medium sized rooms, with a 234mm Super Linear bass driver and ATC's unique SM75-150S mid range soft dome driver.

The active design ensures optimum matching of six MOS-FET amp blocks to the drivers, providing plenty of transient headroom and maximum SPLs of up to 112dB.

An LF contour control provides five bass boost settings, and a flat reference response.
