The 2nd-generation PreSonus FaderPort is a compact single-fader USB control surface designed for delivering flexible hardware control of DAWs for producers, musicians, and audio engineers in home, project, and mobile studios. Permitting you to speed up your productions by keeping your hand off your mouse, it features a large 360° push-button encoder, a touch-sensitive 100 mm motorized fader, and a comprehensive transport control section.
The long-throw fader offers increased resolution for fast rough mixes and detailed volume automation while the encoder permits manipulation of panning and plug-in parameters. Mute, automation modes, solo, and record-enable status can also be simply controlled along with window selection, loop on/off, play, stop, record, and marker access. Despite of track count, the Session Navigator puts channel selection, scrolling, and zooming at your fingertips. Hands-free punch recording is possible using the 1/4" foot-switch jack (foot-switch available separately).
Also, this control surface supports Control Link and parameter follow for powerful native Studio One control. In addition, it offers Mackie HUI and Mackie Control Universal protocols, ensuring compatibility with Ableton Live, Cubase, Logic Pro, Nuendo, Pro Tools, and more. The FaderPort connects using USB 2.0 and is powered via the included 12 VDC external power supply. The PreSonus Studio One Artist DAW software is bundled with the FaderPort.
