Aviom D400 A-Net® Distributor, with A-Net input

Powerful Connectivity. More Affordable Than Ever.

Just like the D800 family of A-Net Distributors, the Aviom D400 is designed for providing a reliable, robust connectivity, delivering high fidelity digital audio and power your Aviom Personal Mixers- at a price that you can really manage.

The Aviom D400 A-Net Distributors is professionally designed for providing the link between the Personal Mixers and personal mixing system's inputs, providing a copy of the digital audio stream and power to your Aviom Personal Mixers, utilizing standard Cat-5e cables.

The first version of this D400 product type is the standard D400, it has an Aviom A-Net input, designed for perfectly using with the Aviom's digital console cards or analog input modules from Aviom or our third party partners.

Connecting to Analog or Digital Consoles

Use the standard D400 with the Aviom A-Net input for personal mixing system that is using one or more analog input models  (AN-16/i v.2, AN-16/i-M, or legacy AN-16/i) or an A-Net console card (such as the Y1 A-Net Card for Yamaha digital consoles).

You can provide power and audio, with one  Pro16 A-Net In and eight powered A-Net Outs, for up to eight Aviom Personal Mixers. And the Aviom D400 includes an unpowered A-Net Out as well, it is created for perfectly connecting additional A-Net Distributors for systems with more than eight Personal Mixers.

Grow your system

If you need more than eight Personal Mixers, both the D400 and the D400-Dante include an A-Net Out port—perfect for sending the incoming audio stream (regardless of its original source) to additional A-Net Distributors. There is no practical limit to the number of A-Net Distributors and Personal Mixers that you can use in a system.

Stereo Links

Stereo Links are a powerful feature on the A320 and A360 Personal Mixers, allowing a pair of adjacent channels to be assigned to a single mix channel button.

The D400 and D400-Dante give the user the option of assigning stereo links using a set of DIP switches on the front panel of the A-Net Distributor instead of at the input device.

A-Net Offset

The A-Net Offset DIP switches on the D400 can be used to select which bank of channels from the incoming A-Net stream will be assigned to the Personal Mixers connected to the distributor. In larger systems, especially those using multiple A-Net Distributors, this allows extra channel assignment flexibility when connecting input sources to the network.
